Holiday fun

Lucky Katy has left today for a 3-day break in the Hunter Valley with Olivia and her Mum. They are staying with a friend of Olivia's Mum's who has a lovely big home on about thirty acres, with cattle and chickens (sorry - 'chooks!'). She's also taking the girls to Olivia's grandfather's place, a farm where they can feed the cows, chooks, and collect the eggs, play in the hay shed, and have a ride on the tractor. All sounds fantastic fun and Katy was very excited when I dropped her off at Olivia's house this morning.

We are not missing out completely though - the rest of us are also heading up to the Hunter Valley on Thursday and staying overnight in a hotel at the Hunter Valley Gardens, doing some exploring of the beautiful wine region and bringing Katy (and some wine, no doubt!) back home on Friday.

In the meantime Ally is out today with William and Tom on a 'boys' day' while I catch up on some odd jobs! They have been to the park and are now at the cinema watching Ice Age 3 - then tomorrow there are plans for a Sydney museum featuring dinosaurs...
