Ally and I had a lovely day out today to celebrate our 14th (!!) wedding anniversary. Ally took the day off work, and with Tom at nursery and Katy and William at school, we were able to enjoy some time in Sydney together. The weather was warm and sunny, and we were delighted to find everything ready at Darling Harbour for the Boat Show starting tomorrow - the whole harbour was filled to the brim with boats of all shapes and sizes so it was lovely to browse and dream of what we would buy if we won the lotto...
After a good wander we had lunch at Wagamama overlooking the water - noodles and side dishes a plenty, with a glass of wine, then took our heavily garlic-breathed selves for an amble around the shops, stopping for a coffee and cake later on.
It was soooo lovely to be out and about in the sunshine and we arrived home refreshed ready to pick the children up from their various spots, finishing the day later with a bottle of chilled bubbly and some lovely fat olives.
