We've had a lovely sunny first week of the Easter Holidays so have really made the most of it - on Wednesday we spent a gorgeous day at Curl Curl beach with friends (minus poor Ally who was at work) and yesterday popped over to Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River for a picnic with a couple of Katy's friends and their Mums. 
Tom rode his bike along the river bank while the others braved the water for a swim - remaining in the shark-free cordoned-off area of course (apparently there are lots of sharks there...!) It was all very scenic and the day was finished off nicely with chips from the waterside cafe. Next time we come we hope to try a spot of fishing...
Today we are staying at home catching up on all the jobs that have been left by us being out enjoying the nice weather, and doing some tidying up ready for Mum and Dad's visit on Sunday - we are sooo looking forward to it and hope the weather holds (although I have just seen a forecast predicting rain - agh - hope it is wrong!)
