Tom had a lovely birthday today - he had heaps of parcels to open, the sun was shining and his party for 10 friends in the garden went without a hitch. They all had lots of fun on the bouncy castle, bashed the living daylights out of a pinata filled with sweets, and sat down to a birthday tea full of e-numbers (with some watermelon and grapes thrown in for the health-conscious). Even the old favourite, passed-down-through-generations train cake made another appearance...
