Today was Fathers Day here in Australia, and after a late breakfast of pancakes, and with the warmth of Spring in the air, we had a lovely day out at Chinamans Beach, yet another 'new' beach for us.
It was a quiet, unspoilt beach next to a big park, so was an ideal spot for the Fathers Day picnic we had prepared and the cake the children had made.
The kids paddled in the sea and played on the rocks, and later we drove on to a (neighbouring) beach - Balmoral, for coffees on the seafront. Spot an acrobatic Tom......

Goodness, I can't believe how many beaches there are near you, lovely to have so many fantastic spots to explore!
ReplyDeleteSounds as if your lovely man had a lovely day - hope you've kept us a piece of the cake! (thinks - wasn't Balmoral Beach one of those we went to with you - I seem to recognise the name ... but there are so many. ) Has been very warm and sunny here, but today it's raining - sad to feel autumn approaches, whilst you are looking forward to summer. Still can't get my head round that! Much love from us both xoxo
ReplyDeleteDid you see Jumping Tom??? Look to the left!!! xxx
