Tom is four!

Wow, it's amazing to think that Tom has doubled his age since arriving here in Australia, and he is now exactly one tenth of his Dad's age (while his sister is one quarter)...

He fully embraced his birthday yesterday, unwrapping all his presents with unbridled glee and enthusiasm "Awesome, I love this!!!" "Oh yes yes yes, I really wanted one of these..." and went off to preschool complete with a plate of cookies, blowouts and a pass the parcel to share with the other children (his 'real' party isn't until Saturday).

On his return, and the others' return from school, we did him a little birthday tea and the old favourite traditional train cake made an appearance once again (by special request of the birthday boy that morning, even though Mum had had other cake plans which then had to be swiftly rejigged!!!)

He had some lovely presents (mobilo, cars, clothes, a remote-controlled car, books, pens, balloons and lego) so thank you everyone - he particularly had fun with the Whoopee Cushion from Granna and Grandad (great hilarity) while Ally quite liked the fake moustaches...
