November catch-up

I can't believe it's been more than a month since I've updated this blog - I have managed to miss the entire month of November!
It was a very full month - Ally developed severe corneal abrasions which meant he was unable to see, couldn't go to work for two weeks and we had to cancel our holiday to Fiji... not good! The holiday was supposed to be a celebration of his 40th birthday, so this was spent at home instead with champagne and birthday cake... we hope to be able to reschedule this trip for another time, so long as the insurance pays up... (by the way, those glasses Katy is wearing are Ally's)...

Four weeks later he now has his sight almost-fully back, and returned to driving again yesterday, such a relief!

Here are some other memories of November. Katy and Jess went to a pink disco for guides...

We had a lovely time at the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Sydney - we watched it from big screens in Hyde Park and enjoyed all the entertainment, including a visit from Santa, and fireworks to finish. These rather large kangaroos took a liking to Katy...

We have been to various Christmas fairs and shows, and Tom did his Christmas Concert at nursery, singing carols and entertaining all the Mums and Dads, with another visit from Santa...
Now it's December we have our Christmas tree up and presents are gradually starting to appear underneath... the festive season truly is upon us.

Seasons Greetings everyone!
