This week it's the Sydney Festival of Football, in which Sydney FC are playing Glasgow Rangers, Blackburn FC and Athens in a round-robin tournament. The opportunity of seeing the mighty Rangers playing over here was of course too exciting to miss, so off Ally and the boys went yesterday to watch Rangers vs Blackburn... a great match as Rangers won, and according to a friend who was watching it live on Foxtel Sports, apparently Ally and 'son' (we are not sure which!) were given 'serious TV airtime' by the cameras filming the crowd. Wish we'd known, would have loved to have seen that, but Katy and I were off iceskating with friends and oblivious of the football sporting coverage! Ally also has tickets for the games on Wednesday and Saturday, the most exciting of which will be the Rangers vs Sydney game...
