New Home

Phew, it's been a busy old week or so. I think moving house is like childbirth, you forget how painful is until it's upon you again... and as soon as the process begins, my goodness you remember! By which point it's too late to turn back so you just have to go ahead and get on with it...

Well, we got the keys to our new house last Thursday (April 15th - Happy Birthday Daddy!) and since then have worked tooth and nail to try and get it up and running as 'home'. It's actually a much MUCH smaller house than we have been used to so we have all sort of renovations planned for expansion up, sideways and down! It's taken a full week to try and condense our belongings to fit the space... but we are finally FINALLY feeling settled, happy and optimistic for the future.

The location is great.... the kids are loving the fact they can walk down to the (great) shops, and get on their scooters/bikes and whizz up and down the pavement outside to their hearts content. I must point out that both are total novelties as they have never been able to do either before! We are also just a few doors down from a great park, floodlit at night, opposite a lovely (plants) nursery and very close (short cycling distance) from a beautiful National Park.

Anyway, to satisfy all of your curiousity (I know, just admit it, you are dying to see!) - here are some pics - from all angles! As I said, the house is not impressive at the moment, and the thing to remember is p-o-t-e-n-t-i-a-l !!!!!!
